Asst. Prof. Eddy Solomon, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Technion- Israel Institute of Technology

Dr. Eddy Solomon is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD in Chemical Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and an adjunct appointment as Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University.

A major focus of Dr. Solomon's research is the development of advanced MRI technologies for cancer imaging, including diffusion and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI. Particularly, his work involves developing novel MRI acquisition methods, AI-driven image reconstruction, and quantitative imaging to improve the detection and characterization of benign and malignant lesions, particularly in breast, head and neck, and abdominal cancer imaging. By enabling faster, higher-quality, and more quantitative MRI, his research aims to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, and imaging biomarkers.
