Dr. Hadas Weinstein-Marom is a Principal Investigator and the Head of the Laboratory for Cellular Immunotherapy & Synthetic Biology in the Department of Molecular and Computational Biosciences and Biotechnology at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute.

Her laboratory investigates cellular Immunotherapy and synthetic biology, focusing on two major research arms:

• Adoptive T cell therapy of cancer, developing new logic gated strategies, genetic switches and composite adjuvants for accurate, selective and effective immunotargeting of tumors.
• Genetic engineering of regulatory T cells and their reprogramming for the treatment of selected inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

The Weinstein-Marom Lab's mission is to pioneer cutting-edge genetic technologies inspired by the mechanisms of the immune system, with the goal of developing advanced cell therapies for a broad spectrum of diseases. Leveraging the latest tools in synthetic biology—including logic gates, genetic switches, and genetic adjuvants—we strive to design programmable, precise, and safe therapeutic solutions that redefine the boundaries of personalized medicine.
