New Call for Proposals: RTICC Collaborative Grants for Multidisciplinary Cancer Research

Eight research proposals will be selected, each receiving $60,000 in funding

The Rappaport Cancer Research Center (RTICC) is proud to announce a new Call for Proposals supporting dually-mentored young investigators: PhD students/ postdoctoral fellows/ physicians, for multidisciplinary cancer research at the Technion.

RTICC’s mission is to support cutting-edge, translational cancer research that bridges basic science, clinical insights, and technological innovation. In this spirit, the call offers funding to promote meaningful collaboration between labs at the Technion, and to support the career development of exceptional young investigators.

Supporting Excellence Through Collaboration
Each awarded project will receive $30,000 per year for two academic years (a total of $60,000), enabling a PhD student, postdoctoral fellow, or MDs who are pursuing full-time cancer research, to conduct state-of-the-art cancer research across two co-mentoring Technion laboratories. Funding is allocated to support:

  • The young investigator’s scholarship (55%)
  • Research expenses (40%)
  • Educational activities such as conference travel or publication costs (5%)
