In memoriam- Professor Yoram Palti z”l
May his memory be a blessing
The RTICC mourns the passing of Israel Prize Laureate Professor Yoram Palti z”l.
Professor Emeritus Yoram Palti (1937–2026), one of the founders of the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion, and a former Head of the Bruce and Ruth Rappaport Institute for Research in the Medical Sciences, has passed away at the age of 89. Prof. Palti was the founder of NovoCure, which developed an innovative technology for cancer treatment, and a recipient of the Israel Prize for Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation in 2022.
Professor Palti was a visionary leader and a groundbreaking inventor, whose scientific legacy and commitment to medical research will continue to inspire generations.
His lasting contributions to science, medicine, and the advancement of cancer research and therapy is outstanding and will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
