Dr. Glasner's research focuses on unraveling the complex interactions between tumor microenvironment and immune cells. The project aims to create a comprehensive map of these interactions, detailing the roles and functions of stromal (supportive tissue) cells and immune cells within the tissue microenvironment. By understanding these dynamics, Dr. Glasner seeks to identify new therapeutic targets and strategies for treating cancer.
This grant provides a unique opportunity to delve deeply into the cellular interactions within the tumor microenvironment. The goal is to uncover new insights that could lead to innovative treatments and advance our understanding of cancer biology.
